HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

IHI UAE Co., Ltd was established on 7th March 1978
by IHI Corporation (Ishikawajima - Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.), Japan
joining with United Trading and Service Co.

The company with a support of IHI, executed the
site work, logistics and the local fabrication work in UAE & GCC for
the following projects:
- Union Cement Plant, Phase-1 and Phase-2 in Ras
Al-Khaima, UAE / EPC
- Al-Ain Cement Plant, Phase-1 and Phase-2 in Abu Dhabi, UAE /
EPC
- Umm Al-Nar West Desalination Plant units 1 ~ 6

the majority of the share from IHI to take over the management of the
company and became responsible for its operation.
March 2009, Abdullah Nasser Abdullah Khamis Al Shamsi bought the share of United
Trading & Services Co. and became new partner replacing United Trading & Services
Co.
